About the artist
Martin Edge is a celebrated Brisbane artist known for his vibrant, 'naïve’ painting style. His work is largely autobiographical, inspired by everyday adventures and the local environment. Bright, playful and full of character, Martin’s paintings invite audiences to see the world through his eyes and find joy in the everyday.

Since beginning his professional career in 2007, Martin has exhibited in more than 100 group exhibitions and 20 solo shows across Australia. His award-winning work is held in major collections including Home of the Arts (HOTA), Parliament House Art Collection, State Library of Queensland and City of Moreton Bay Galleries. He is also a longstanding ambassador for Autism Queensland.
