About the artist:
Martin Edge is a celebrated visual artist based in Brisbane. A self-described naïve painter, Martin’s work is largely autobiographical – drawing inspiration from his everyday adventures and the world around him. Fun, bright and full of colour – Martin’s paintings invite audiences to see the world through his eyes and find joy in the everyday. Since beginning his professional career in 2007, he has exhibited in over 100 group shows and 20 solo exhibitions across Australia. His award-winning works are represented in state and national collections. Martin is a longstanding and proud ambassador for Autism Queensland.
