About the Artist
Lisa Michl Ko-manggén is an accomplished artist from the Kokoberrin language group in Central Western Cape York Peninsula, Queensland, Australia. Her beautifully coloured earth-tone paintings present intricate forms and bold designs, inspired by her memories of time spent on country with her Kokoberrin family. Lisa has exhibited her works in prominent Australian exhibitions and her works can be found in the collections of various institutions, including the National Gallery of Victoria and Parliament House.
