Husque Original Bowl | Orange Flare

Husque is an innovative design product by Marc Harrison made with the native Australian macadamia nutshell. Husque takes the waste shell from the locally farmed nut and creates these unique bowls. The recycled shell is pulverised and reformed with a polymer. A coloured lining is then applied and hand-polished to a beautiful lustre. 

The original Husque bowl was designed in 2003, to celebrate the unique botanical connection between the Macadamia nut and its native origin, the mid-east coast of Australia. The Macadamia shell used to make Husque is harvested from the same origin.

Materials: Macadamia shell and polymer

Dimensions: H80 x L210 x W170 

Care: Designed to be admired, and for occasional use. Husque is pre-treated with Macadamia nut oil. Avoid using husque with sharp implements. To clean, wash with warm soapy water- not dishwasher safe. To boost the lustre of Husque after time, or after washing, wipe over with Macadamia nut oil or olive oil, then buff with a soft cloth.
