"One day, my mum said she liked big, chunky necklaces, but they were too heavy. So I made something light for her with lightweight materials. That's how I started making jewellery for myself and others.

I find inspiration in nature. Living near mountains, many of my ideas come from what I see: flowers in the garden, bubbles while washing my hands, and coral viewed when scuba diving. My inspiration comes from everyday nature.
My approach is to make pieces I want to wear. If I like them and others do too, they want to wear them, too. Seeing people style my jewellery surprised me, and I thought, 'That looks beautiful.' Then I realised it was my own work. When people wear my jewellery, it often looks even better than I expected because everyone brings their own style."
